Is Vicky Zhao Wei pregnant? Southern Metropolis Entertainment Weekly Monday published a snapshot of the actress seemingly beginning to show signs of pregnancy.

Zhao Wei,who has not been seen in public for months, looks much plumpier in the photo, donning an oversized loose outfit.

Tabloids report Vicky Zhao was expecting a child with property tycoon Huang Youlong and is staying in Singapore during the pregnancy to hide from paparazzi.

Earlier in July, there were rumors that Vicky, 33, secretly registered her marriage with Chinese businessman boyfriend Huang Youlong in Singapore.

West China City Daily said according to close sources in showbiz circles, Vicky Zhao is already five months pregnant.

Zhao was absent for the latest promotional event for new film '14 Blades' co-starring alongside Hong Kong Kung Fu star Donnie Yen on January 6, neither did she show up for some other important occasions she was supposed to attend recently.

Despite the rumored pregnancy that has hit the headlines of many Chinese online media outlets, Vicky Zhao seems to be unaffected and doesn't discuss the issue in her latest blog entry, according to Sohu.com.

In fact, the snapshot above published by Southern Metropolis Entertainment Weekly Monday is Vicki's figure 3 years ago. At least we can't judge her pregnance by that photo.

I don't care if she is really pregnant or not, but I think we have to wait her next attendance at public event.  Personally I think she purposely don't appear in public these days in order to maximize the promotion for 14 Blades.

Kid, no kid, love, no love, true, false, it doesn't matter. If you like her work, you like her. If she knows you existed, you like her even more.

These kind of news are what give company $$$$$ so they'll post anything that sell.

Who cares if she is pregnant or not, I'm sure she wants some privacy in her life.

If she wanted to share the news she would have done so already.  If she doesn't, that's why she's hiding from the paparazzi and not officially announcing it.  People give her some space!

I'm more interested in her making more good movies like "Mulan".

I'm happy for her somewhat, but not entirely (if it's true). I know people make mistakes and don't usually go as what they promised and such, but I'm dissapointed a bit. If she really is pregnant, then she went against her own words she expressed to the media, but if not, then she should at least told the media first. Hey, it's her life--I know!. But she's a well known person and there are bound to be fans that take their idols' words personally. Like me, I guess (heh). Anyway, no one's perfect at everything they do and don't always keep to their words. All I'm confessing is that I do not like the man who impregnant her. =( Hope she's happy, though.
